During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to blackouts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Several individuals were hurt while local people in eastern neighborhoods were plunged into darkness and faced disruption to water systems, according to municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a minor was fatally injured in a different Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, according to local officials.

Russian forces has increased assaults on electrical systems over the last fortnight, while officials has called for "substantial measures" from partner nations to exert influence on Russia.

"What is required is not window dressing but strong steps - from the America, Europe and the major economies - in supplying protection systems and applying sanctions," mentioned in a online statement.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty projectiles targeted energy facilities, characterizing such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and repair crews were working to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles damaged power facilities and civilian homes in the capital.

Multiple people hurt in the assaults on the capital have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by municipal representatives.
